On July 13th, 2025, The Mustard Seed Education Foundation held it’s latest fundraiser, Double Team to Achieve the Dream. This event focused on capturing the nostalgia of everyone who played CYO basketball in the old Westminster Church from the 1960’s to early 2000’s. With 175 attendees and over $24,000 raised, this event was a success.
Some highlights of the afternoon included the silent auction, wine pull, and the tours of the facility. Attendees were also able to walk away with some Westminster apparel from Jupmode.
We want to give a special thank you to Nemsys for hosting this event and opening up their corporate headquarters for our guests to reminisce on the halls of Westminster. Nemsys purchased Westminster for their office in 2023 and redeveloped the building and Ostrich Towne block, investing nearly $20 million to convert the building into its office.
Double Team to Achieve the Dream was emceed by Vince Croci, a Toledoan who played basketball at Westminster himself.
We want to thank all our sponsors who made this happen:
